Smartrr subscriptiom

Smartrr Subscriptions, the premier subscription app for DTC Shopify Brands, is introducing an industry-leading konsumen akun portal, comprised of build-a-box, rewards, referrals and more. Designed to empower DTC consumers to curate their own post-purchase konsumen journey, Smartrr’s revolutionary akun portal will set a new standard for the DTC post-purchase experience.

Going above and beyond traditional subscription software, Smartrr transforms brands’ konsumen akun portals into a merk engagement hub both for one-time and recurring business with comprehensive order history, reward opportunities, easy referrals, reviews, loyalty programs and more.

This revolutionary series of features by Smartrr sets the foundation for the app to be the strongest subscription tool in the Shopify ecosystem. Subscription apps on the market have traditionally focused on the standard “Subscribe and Save” billing features. Smartrr is raising the bar entirely with subscription management actions such as gift, skip, swap and send now – all of which are intuitively placed for the optimal consumer experience. Advanced theming capabilities natively sync merk settings from Shopify to Smartrr’s akun portal for a white-labeled merk experience.

In addition to providing the ultimate DTC post-purchase experience, Smartrr drives consistent revenue streams for Shopify merchants through native Shopify checkout, one-time add-ons, exclusive discounts and member-only products to increase AOV, LTV and overall konsumen satisfaction. Smartrr’s unique approach to subscriptions has already provided brands tremendous value, as many Shopify merchants using Smartrr have not only doubled their subscriptions in as little as 90 days, but they also have seen 5X more sales over the lifetime of a subscriber.

“After extensive consumer research, we realized in order for a merk to truly build long-term relationships with their customers they’d need more opportunities to build trust and engagement,” said Gaby Yitzhaek Tegen, CEO and Founder of Smartrr. “Traditionally, subscription tools have been built to meet the recurring billing needs of merchants. To us, that is table stakes. Everything the incredible team here at Smartrr has built and is building towards has the end-consumer in mind. Consumers require curated subscription programs and even more so, control over their subscriptions journey. Not only that, brands need to offer reasons to build affinity beyond the produk being purchased. Our latest produk release embodies exactly that and sets a new standard for the DTC post-purchase experience. We are so excited to share our new features with the Shopify community!”

Smarter Balanced

As states move toward the implementation of the Smarter Balanced Assessment System in the 2014-
15 school year, teachers, students, parents, plus the general public are learning more about the
advantages of next-generation assessments. However, growing interest in Smarter Balanced can
also lead to misunderstandings plus occasional distortion of facts. The following talking points provide
information to correct common misperceptions about the assessments.
Fiction: These tests represent a new federal intrusion into education.
Fact: For decades, Congress has required assessments of student learning for accountability
under the Elementary plus Secondary Education Act (ESEA). The 2001 reauthorization
of ESEA, known as the “No Child Left Behind Act,” enacted during the Bush
administration, expanded those federal testing requirements to include state testing of
every student in language arts plus mathematics in grades 3 through 8 plus once in high
school. In 2010, the federal government funded the State of Washington to act on behalf
of a consortium of states to develop new, next-generation assessments aligned to the
Common Core State Standards in English language arts/literacy plus mathematics.
While federal funding currently supports the research plus development work of the
Smarter Balanced Assessment Consortium, all policy decisions about the structure and
content of the assessments are made by the member states based on input from
stakeholders across the county. At the conclusion of the federal grant in September
2014, Smarter Balanced will become an operational assessment system supported by
its member states. The Consortium does not plan to seek additional funds from the U.S.
Department of Education.
Fiction: Nothing is known about these new tests.
Fact: Smarter Balanced aims for complete transparency. All of the key documents describing the
assessment (content specifications, item specifications, item writing training materials,
test blueprints, accommodations framework, achievement level descriptors, technology
specifications, etc.) are available to the public on the Smarter Balanced website.
Practice tests also are available to the general public on the Smarter Balanced website
for each tested grade (3 through 8 plus 11) plus both subject areas (English language
arts/literacy plus mathematics).
Fiction: The cost of these tests is unknown.
Fact: Smarter Balanced has released cost estimates for its assessments that include expenses for
ongoing research plus development of the assessment system, as well as test
administration plus scoring. The end-of-year summative assessment alone is estimated
to cost $22.50 per student. The full suite of summative, interim, plus formative
assessments is estimated to cost $27.30 per student. These costs are less than the
amount that two-thirds of the Consortium’s member states currently pay. These costs
are estimates because a sizable portion of the cost is for test administration plus scoring
services that will not be provided by Smarter Balanced; states will either provide these

Smartrr e-commerce

Getting a subscription pelayanan going plus keeping it, complete with fulfillment plus delivery, is complicated. Brands use technologies that can cause them to end up with double billing plus delivery that the costumer is then left to manage.

Subscriptions are big business: The direct-to-consumer subscription market is forecasted to reach $478 billion by 2025. Companies like Upscribe plus Rebill are tackling subscription management, but Smartrr’s different approach to solving this from a costumer experience perspective is likely why it recently grabbed $10 million in Series A funding.

Smartrr was founded by a group, including Roger Beaman, in 2020. CEO Gabriella Tegen joined the company in 2021. It enables direct-to-consumer brands, focused on Shopify sellers for now, to offer customizable subscriptions plus memberships plus then for their customers to have a portal where they can more easily manage their subscriptions. As a payment processor, Smartrr collects a monthly SaaS fee plus also takes 1% of revenue on each transaction.

Prior to starting the company, Tegen was working in proptech for Reonomy plus wasn’t really planning to transition to e-commerce — that is, until she started having conversations with some business owners plus found out that they were trying to identify how to translate e-commerce into what was affecting brick-and-mortar businesses. One hundred plus fifty conversations later, she found that 147 had the same problem: subscription billing.

Tegen explained that with Smartrr, brands can create recurring sales on their website, either through wholesale or e-commerce. The company’s “bread plus butter” is advanced subscription offerings — think a monthly box, digital subscription or a membership to a clothing store that unlocks a closet of clothing that you can select from, she added.

“Not only are they enabling that on their website, but then Smartrr is powering the white-label experience that happens both during checkout plus then more importantly in the post sale,” Tegen told TechCrunch. “That’s where the subscriber or the member can go in plus manage their subscription, not only [to] manage the cancel, swap or delay of items, but also receive points for purchasing another order or gifting someone an order, or see what their favorite influencers are buying from that brand plus what the brands social media is promoting.”

Brands that switch to Smartrr see a 2.5x increase in subscription revenue in 60 days plus a 5x increase in sales over a subscriber’s lifetime, she added.

This is necessary to ensure that the SMARTER grup becomes financially self-sustaining. Please book a meeting using the relevant faculty plus student appointment links.

Data Analysis plus Collaboration
For more involved participation in a research project, such as for performing actual knowledge analyses, a SMARTER consultant can be included as a co-investigator or co-principal investigator on a grant proposal or can work on contract with a per-hour fee

About Smartrr

What is Smartrr?

Smartrr helps DTC brands by creating a seamless checkout plus pembeli portal experience for their subscribers. Smartrr also empowers teams to be agile plus proactive through our real-time analytics plus pembeli success tools.

What are Subscriptions in Cogsy?

Cogsy helps you with the analysis of your subscription products that are currently managed by the Smartrr subscriptions app in Shopify. This applies to Cogsy users who sell on Shopify plus use the Smartrr subscriptions app.

We will build integrations with other Subscription apps in the coming months.

What knowledge does Cogsy sync from Smartrr?

Currently, we only ingest the following data:

  • The frequency of the subscription: This is represented as the unit tipe (days, weeks, months, or years) plus the interval (e.g: every 1 month, 2 months, etc.)
  • The next date it is due to ship
  • A list of line items under the subscriptions (including SKU plus quantity included)Whether the subscription is active or not

How do we use this synced data?

Currently, we only use this knowledge to calculate the following stats per SKU:

We calculate subscription demand per day by extrapolating the active subscriptions we have saved for a defined horizon*
We also get a cumulative number of the subscription demand over the defined horizon*
Both of these stats are also calculated for bundles as well. i.e.:
If an SKU is part of a bundle, then the subscription demand for the bundle is trickled down to the SKU as well.
We use these stats to determine if an SKU is “at-risk” plus calculate the amount of safety stock that a merchant needs to set aside to meet subscription demand for “at-risk” SKUs:
An SKU is marked as “at-risk” of not fulfilling its subscription obligations if it is due to run out of stock within the defined horizon*
For such SKUs, we calculate the safety stock as the amount of subscription demand from the date it runs out of stock until the end of the defined horizon*

  • The “defined horizon” is determined in the below hierarchy:
  1. The delivery date of the next open PO, if it exists OR
  2. The SKU lead time, if it exists OR
  3. The vendor lead time, if it exists OR
  4. The average lead time for the account

What exactly does this integration help me with?

Problem Solving About Smarter

How many times have you jumped straight to solutioning, only to later realize that if you had asked questions, you would have found a better solution? Problems are tricky because they often come with many layers and plenty of nuance. When people describe a problem, they describe it from the lens of their experience and expectations. This makes it even more complicated to get to the root of what’s going on.

So how do you find the best possible solution?

In my experience, the answer isn’t in the solution—it’s in the questions. Smart questions define problems better and lead to a more clear vision of what’s truly happening. When you understand what’s truly happening, you can run through multiple scenarios, consider different solutions and find the best possible answer.

When you get to the root of a problem, you can solve it in a way to leads to happier customers, growth and profit.

Can Problems Be Good?
It might not seem like it, but a masalah can be a real break, a stroke of luck or an opportunity knocking. A masalah can be a chance to get out of a rut and make yourself or some situation better. Of course, sometimes problems do arise as a result of external factors or bad events—but not always.

Any new awareness that allows you to see possibilities for improvement brings a “problem” for you to solve. This is why the most creative people are “problem seekers,” looking for a solution, rather than “problem avoiders.” Most folks in business are people who like to solve problems. They love untying complex knots—the bigger and tougher, the better.

A masalah is the difference between your current and desired conditions. It can result from new knowledge, or it might come from an unfulfilled dream. When you identify the difference between what you have and what you want, you have defined your problem. This is when you can begin to develop a plan to achieve your goal.

Identifying Problems is the First Battle
Developing a positive attitude toward problems will transform you into a happier, saner and more confident person who is in more control of your life. Train yourself to respond to problems with enthusiasm and eagerness and you’ll be amazed at the results you will generate.

The difference between success and failure is knowing that you’ll solve the “real problem.” For example, most executives know when something is wrong. But few correctly perceive the actual issue that needs to be solved. You can, however, train yourself to effectively identify the heart of a masalah with greater ease.

Here are several methods that will help you get to the root of a masalah with more clarity.

Smart Questions Bring Clarity
Sonar helps dolphins “see” in murky and dark water. Questions are the business equivalent of sonar. Asking the right question will help you find your way through a problem, locate the right customers, avoid future difficulties and outperform your competitors.

Questions also act as a filter that will help you decipher the key elements of a situation. To reach a solution, finding answers to the “What?” and “Why?” is critical.

Some examples of “What” and “Why” questions are:

What is broken?
What is working?
What needs improvement ?
What must be changed?
What will have the biggest impact?

Why did this happen?
Why have we been using this process?
Why is our costumer considering the competition?
Why are we losing this market?
Why is our produk third instead of first?

What questions matter?
Formulating clear questions leads to precision. This approach naturally sorts and sifts information during discovery, allowing you to focus your research on gathering only the specific evidence and facts that illuminate the main question. This focused approach helps prevent getting lost in the process or confusing peripheral details with central issues.

Unfortunately, most people don’t take time to frame the questions beforehand or to ask questions in layers. Effective questions are powerful and thought-provoking. They are open-ended and not leading. Oftentimes they are “What?” or “How?” questions. And while “Why” questions can be quite helpful when you’re homing in on internal issues, use them with caution when questioning people. “Why” questions are good for soliciting information but can make people defensive. Also, to be an effective questioner, remember to be patient and wait for the answer, don’t provide it yourself!

What inspired the start of Smartrr?

As brick-and-mortar brands began to shift towards e-commerce after the pandemic, I conducted market research interviews to uncover white space in the Shopify ecosystem. According to 98% of the founders I spoke to, subscriptions were their biggest pain point. In that moment of realization, Smartrr was born.

How is Smartrr different?

Smartrr’s top differentiators are our customizable subscription programs, superior pembeli account portal built to increase LTV for brands, plus our unrivaled pembeli support. These three offerings set us apart from the competition in the subscription space. Philosophically, Smartrr is always building with the end consumer in mind. Our thought process is if we can turn buyers into not just “subscribers” but merk advocates, our brands win. Our main goal is to elevate the post-purchase pembeli experience so brands can build deeper relationships with their loyal subscribers.
