Steps
Connect the integration
Navigate to Settings → App Store → All Apps
Find Smartrr on the list and click it
Click on Connect App
Log into a Shopify store
In Smartrr go to Integrations → Gorgias → Connect
Add your Gorgias subdomain and Authorize the app
Once connected, an HTTP integration will be created

Using the Smartrr Widget
Once a ticket is created or updated for an existing kastemer in Gorgias and Smartrr, the widget will automatically appear in the sidebar

At the top of the Smartrr widget, you’ll see the following relevant subscriber information:

How to Connect
Set up takes less than a minute – 2 clicks – first connect your Shopify account to Peel & then add the Smartrr datasource permissions.

Go to Smartrr and create an API Key for Peel.

Smartrr Subscription

Smartrr is one of the best choices to offer and manage subscriptions on Shopify. It offers many advanced features, useful costumer portal, and top-notch costumer service.

There are many solutions for selling and managing subscriptions on Shopify, but Smartrr is definitely in the top tier when it comes to reliability and user experience. What we really like is the thoughtful onboarding that offers using a demo subscription program on a demo product. So, in a few clicks you can see how the app works on your store (preview) without the need of actually setting some subscription logic and products.

The company is claiming they are focusing on empowering the costumer (i.e., subscriber). And they really do that. The costumer portal is top-notch and gives customers great overview and control over their subscriptions. If you are serious about subscriptions, retaining the costumer is key, and you can’t do well without a solid costumer portal.

Besides offering the “standard” “subscribe and save” method, Smartrr also offers advanced feature called build-a-box. Customers can select what products they want in their subscription package. This feature comes in the top plan called Excel for $499 / month + 1% subscription GMV. Same as the loyalty tools like rewards and referrals.

The entry plan called Launch is $99 per month + 1% subscription GMV and gives everything you need to run a subscription business. It’s more expensive compared to some other solutions we reviewed, but the price comes with a high product quality and costumer support. The support by the way is often praised in the app reviews which are phenomenal – only a single 4-star and the rest are all 5-star.

Set up the integration
Sign into your Smartrr account.

Find the Attentive card, plus click Connect.
You’re redirected to Attentive.

Smarter Balanced Assesment Now

Washington state requires all districts to administer the Smarter Balanced assessments each spring. These tests:

Measure how well students are meeting College plus Career Readiness Standards
Help teachers, schools, plus districts identify which students need more support
Cover Math plus English Language Arts (ELA)
Take about 3-4 hours per subject
Are given to students in grades 3 through 8 plus 10
Are required for federal plus state accountability

Smarter Balanced English/Language Arts plus Math (SBA) Assessment Window March 3 to June 6

Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS) Assessment Window April 7 to June 6 for students in 5th, 8th, plus 11th grades.

Spring 2025 Participation Details
All students in grades 3-8 plus 10 are expected to take the SBA Math plus ELA assessments.
Students in 11th plus 12th grades may take Smarter Balanced if needed to fulfill their graduation pathway.
All 5, 8, plus 11 grade students will take the Washington Comprehensive Assessment of Science (WCAS) in the spring.
Reduced assessment time. The assessments have eliminated the previously required classroom-based activity before each Performance Task. This will reduce time spent on the assessments.
Uniform assessment windows. No longer do third-graders plus 10th-graders have a shortened testing window. All grades may take the assessment between mid-March plus early June.
Accommodations plus Exemptions
Accommodations for the SBA
A limited amount of accommodations are available for state testing per a student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP) or 504 plan. The accommodations must be indicated in the state assessments section of the student’s IEP or 504 plan. Not all in-class daily accommodations are permitted on state assessments. OSPI provides an annual document that indicates approved tools, supports, plus accommodations for state assessments.

Exemptions for the SBA
A student who is actively enrolled in an English Language Learner (ELL) program plus are attending their first U.S. school plus arrived in the U.S. within 365 days of the assessment may be exempt from the ELA test only.
A student who has a major medical event preventing participation during the entire window. Those exemptions are reviewed plus approved by Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.
